Karen commenced working at Wolrige Mahon LLP in 1996 as a co-op student. She received her Bachelor of Commerce from Simon Fraser University in 1998 and received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1999.

Karen joined the Wolrige Mahon LLP Tax Group in 1999 providing tax-related services including tax planning and compliance, estate and succession planning and corporate restructuring.

Karen completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountant's advance tax course in the summer of 2002. She is presently enrolled in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuator’s accreditation program which she will complete in 2007.
