BackgroundMike joined Wolrige Mahon in 1990. He is a partner in our Financial Investigations Group and President of Wolrige Mahon Limited, Trustees in Bankruptcy.
Professional PracticeMike's practise includes the following: acting as a forensic accountant on behalf of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and litigants: preparing calculations as to business valuations, cash flow forecasts and economic and income losses; acting as an appraiser under the Insurance Act; acting as an advisor to, and monitor of, numerous companies having financial difficulty including assisting them to settle debts with creditors, negotiate ongoing contracts, formulate business plans to determine the long term viability of the companies and arranging alternate financing; and acting as a court and privately appointed receiver and trustee in bankruptcy to administer the affairs of numerous corporations and report thereon to the Court and creditors.
Professional ActivitiesMike currently chairs CAIRP's Intervention Committee, that deals with the intervention of CAIRP in legal actions of national significance.
