Paul Schmidt received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1988 and joined Wolrige Mahon in 1990. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1995.
In 2003, Paul was promoted to Partner of Wolrige Mahon’s Information Technology Group. Paul manages all facets of Wolrige Mahon’s information technology operations including: network administration, software and hardware evaluation and acquisition, troubleshooting, and user education and support. Paul also provides IT consulting services to Wolrige Mahon clients.
Internally, Paul is a member of our Education and Professional Standards Committees, and is the chair of the IT Services Committee.
Paul has extensive hands-on administrative experience with network and PC-based operating systems including Novell Netware 4/5 and Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP. He provides ongoing user support on numerous software applications including the Microsoft Office suite, Novell and Microsoft-based email software, Caseware audit software, Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, ACCPAC, and numerous taxation and financial software packages.
Paul’s broad-based experience allows him to provide an extensive range of Information Technology consulting services to numerous clients. These services include network and PC troubleshooting, user training, software implementations and assistance with hardware and software acquisitions.
