1. Accounting Technician

We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Technician to join our team. This versatile role will involve working directly with a number of our staff and clients. Responsibilities include the preparation of monthly and quarterly bookkeeping assignments (including, but not limited to: payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, tax returns, payroll calculations and remittances, and annual T4 reporting).

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • CGA qualification is an asset
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), able to effectively interface with personnel at all levels
  • Professional and friendly manner
  • Positive attitude and desire to help others
  • Great attention to detail
  • Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments on time and management multiple priorities concurrently
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent judgment and problem solving skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge of Quickbooks and Simply Accounting would be an asset
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

2. Manager, Entertainment and New Media Practice

We are currently recruiting for a Manager to join our Entertainment and New Media practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual whom is committed to a career in public practice has the desire to take a lead role in managing entertainment engagements and contributing both to the growth of the firm and our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA).
  • Minimum of one year of manager level experience in public practice
  • Previous experience with Entertainment clients is preferred
  • Thorough knowledge and application of relevant professional standards, regulations and corporate governance requirements
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills, coaching and developing team members
