| 2006 September | Darren Gibson and Todd Miller Appointed Managers, Audit and Assurance Wolrige Mahon LLP Chartered Accountants is pleased to announce the appointments of Darren Gibson and Todd Miller to Managers, Audit and Assurance. Darren worked for a local CA firm and joined Wolrige Mahon LLP in 2005. Todd Miller joined Wolrige Mahon in 2000 as an articling CA student. Todd continued his professional education and completed the CICA in-depth tax program, as well as, obtaining his CPA degree. Todd works in the firm's mentorship program for students going through the CA program and he is also a marker for CASB. |
| 2006 May | New Partner Joins Wolrige Mahon Bruce Watson, LLB CA, joined Wolrige Mahon LLP May 1, 2006 as a partner in the Litigation Support practice. Bruce brings experience in both the accounting profession and in industry. He served as a partner with KPMG from 1981 to 1993, where his practice included business advisory as well as assurance-related services. Thereafter he served as an officer and director of various public and private companies, living and working in the United States for a number of years before returning to Vancouver in 2004. He currently is Chairman of Web Wise Kids, a not-for-profit organization focused on Internet safety through creative educational media. |
