Alan Wolrige and Ken Mahon, two British Columbia Chartered Accountants shared a vision to establish an independent, British Columbia-based accounting firm that would provide a full range of services to local businesses. They plotted a course towards that goal, formed Wolrige Mahon Chartered Accountants and never looked back.
- 1962 Started the firm in the Rogers building
- 1974 Moved to the Bank of Canada building
- 1979 Launched the Tax practice
- 1984 Began the Insolvency, Litigation Support and Business Valuations practices
- 1985 Moved to our current premises at 400 Burrard
- 1988 Became an independent member of Baker Tilly International, a network of independent accountancy and business services firms throughout the world
- 1996 The founding partners, Wolrige and Mahon retired from the firm
- 2002 Started the Corporate Finance practice
- 2010 Over 90 professional staff, full-service and a variety of industry groups
- 2012 Celebrating over 50 years of dedicated service to our valued clients
