Served as a partner in a Big Four accounting firm from 1981 to 1993, providing assurance and business advisory services to a wide range of clients. Never stop learning!
I was very attracted to the collegial culture of the firm.
I was a co-founder of Web Wise Kids, a not-for-profit organization in the U.S. focused on Internet safety through creative educational media, and continue to serve on their Advisory Board. I have also served as a director of various non-profits in different communities, including the United Way, the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, and a Community Foundation.
Much financial analysis depends on the details, but never lose sight of the big picture.
Most weeks include at least a little time playing one of my various guitars – usually the Martin! On weekends I can often be found enjoying the fresh air on one of our local hiking trails.
