Karen joined Wolrige Mahon in 1996 and became a partner in our Tax Group in 2007.
I spend my days working with clients on complex tax matters or family business issues in the areas of estate planning, succession planning, acquisition and divestitures and real estate development. I derive a great deal of satisfaction from being able to assist clients in growing their businesses, resolving, planning or business issues and attaining their goals and objectives. My experience with multi-disciplinary transactional work has allowed me to develop keen attention to detail and the ability to guide families or business people with respect to the processes involved in complex, multi-disciplinary planning while addressing sensitive issues.
I became a member of the Tax Advisory group in 1999. I completed the in-depth and related advance tax and business education courses offered through the Institute of Charted Accountants and remain committed to professional development.
Always do the best you can, be good to yourself and above all, treat everyone you meet with dignity and respect.
The culture and business philosophy is why I have chosen to remain with Wolrige Mahon LLP. We embrace the philosophy that one of our main objectives is to help our people succeed which includes our front line staff, our largest clients and everyone in between. We strive to provide service beyond expectation in all of our undertakings.
Balancing a professional life and my personal life is important. My hobbies include fly-fishing, gourmet cooking and entertaining, reading and gardening.
